Reducing our Carbon emissions
We are committed to lowering our carbon footprint, by using vehicles that emit less carbon, save on fuel, and using a fleet management tool that enable us to promote safer and greener driving. We also use the AdBlue fuel additive which reduces the level of emissions from our engines, specifically the harmful Nitrous Oxides (NOx).
We have invested in the Peugeot Bipper with a low fuel consumption
enabling it to benefit from the new ‘green’ road tax rates
(4.5 litres/100 km and 119 g/km CO2 with the 1.4 litre HDi 70 bhp engine).
Also using the new Peugeot Boxer, fuel consumption has been reduced by
nearly 10% and the time between maintenance checks has been increased by
30%. This reduces running costs, and has a lower carbon footprint
We also have the Mini Cooper diesel with CO2 emissions of
104g/km. Savings are made in carbon emissions and on fuel costs.
These vehicles have given Hi Speed a huge
benefit on fuel costs, and also CO2 savings.
